Giverny and Monet’s garden

During Easter weekend we went for a visit to the Normand town of Giverny. It is situated by the Seine and is most known for the house and the garden of the famous impressionist Claude Monet. It was also the reason for our day trip there as Nina adores Monet.

We are very happy that we went there with our close friends visiting us from Sweden. It was a day that we will cherish and remember for years and years.

Enjoy the pictures of this beautiful and magical place:

There are several ways to easily get to Giverny from Paris. We took the train from Gare St Lazare to Vernon (takes about 50 minutes). From Vernon there are buses that takes you to Giverny. Another alternative is to take a tour bus all the way from Paris or to rent a car and drive the 75 km.
