Recently I tried another of Paris gluten free restaurants/cafés called Noglu, situated in the Passage de Panorama.
The lunch menu for 24 euros included today’s special as a main course and either a starter or a dessert. They also served gluten free beer.
The lunch was tasty but a bit pricy, especially since the main course was naturally gluten free and they had not changed or added special gluten free products. The highlight of the lunch was the delicious bread.
I of course picked a dessert (since desserts and bread is what we who are gluten intolerant most often don’t get or have very few choices of when we go out to eat) – a brownie. It was wonderfully chocolaty but a little too rich and sugery for my taste with the caramel sauce on top.
All in all, it was well worth a try and I will probably go back to check out some other things on the menu. However, Helmut Newcake is still my favorite gluten free place here in Paris. If you want to know more about Helmut Newcake, check out the blogpost called Gluten free – sans gluten – in Paris.
